Finally, after months of hard work, purchasing software and hardware, installation, configuration and insanity we are almost ready to launch the new field service software we’ve been dreaming of.
Today we completed the integration of our service software with our accounting software.This was a HUGE step in the process. Up until today ESC, our service software, was mostly blank with only basic company information, no customers or vendors, no employees or inventory. With all of that information missing there is no way to proceed with training or implementation. Today’s integration imported ALL our vital information to the new software. Now we can move forward into our new and exciting future. With fingers crossed …… we will train next week and launch on April 1st.
This new software, created and sold by Desco, is going to change the way we do business here at SJO Electric. We are going to be more efficient, informed and customer service oriented with better control of inventory requirements, readily available customer and job information and perhaps more importantly an excellent service scheduling and dispatching system.
